Lucy received her BA, Law, Trinity Hall from Cambridge University in 1994, in 1995 completed the Legal Practice Course, College of Law, Chester; and in 1996 received her MA in Law, Trinity Hall from Cambridge University. Lucy qualified in 1998 as Solicitor in England and Wales, in 2008 as a Foreign Legal Consultant through the State Bar of Texas and in 2011 was appointed a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, in 2018 she was appointed a Chartered Arbitrator. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016.
